I did order the report and read it, it does provide a lot of valuable info on the maintenance of a treadmill .
But what is more valuable is the opportunity to ask some one like you the questions, and get answers from someone that has done this before . I checked the speed sensor as you suggested and as soon as I adjusted it the treadmill worked fine.
Paul , what I did not tell you was My Father in law had a service person look at this treadmill and got a written estimate for over $400.00 plus he paid $80.00 for the estimate.
The repair guy wrote the treadmill needed a new motor controller and a wiring kit. With your advice I fixed it in 15 minutes and no new parts, thanks again

Paul- Thanks for the report. Yes, your report would have helped but, I called a treadmill repair service and he found and repaired the problem in 15 minutes for his minimum charge of $120.00!
